Testimonials

James,

I researched the conversion of Dodge MegaCabs for over a year. After all the research I almost made a mistake, I was considering having the conversion at another shop and the only reason was the distance from home. I almost sacrificed quality for convenience. When you take an expensive truck and decide to cut the frame in two pieces you must be comfortable and confident the cut is in the correct location. Again, I almost made a bad decision for convenience. I am glad that you took the time to explain your process. You set me at ease with my decision. That is all it took, I became confident that Precision Bodyline was the best choice. Your entire staff made me feel welcome and comfortable during my visit.

I was able to watch the entire process unfold. When I seen my frame cut I almost got sick because I second guessed myself. But, when I seen the workmanship and the attention to detail I knew my truck would be better and have a stronger frame than before. I drove a perfectly good truck to North Salt Lake and drove home a perfectly perfect truck. The truck drives like a dream. The truck now looks like a MegaCab should.

If you have anyone in the Houston area that would like to see your work I will make my truck available for them. They can also call or e-mail me, so please provide them with my contact information.

Many thanks to your entire staff.

Regard,

I am addressing this testimonial to anyone who is considering having their truck frame stretched and making it a long bed.

I live in California and recently drove to North Salt Lake, Utah to enlist the services “Precision Bodyline” for this service. I admittedly did not do the research as thoroughly as Robbie, from Baton Rouge, LA but I did inundate them with countless questions on the telephone.

My intuitive sense was that to deliver my brand new 2011 Dodge 3500 MegaCab to them for the purpose of “cutting it in half [a $60,000.00 vehicle] to do this stretch” would be OK…well sort of.

One would have to be somewhat apprehensive.

Arriving at their shop on Tuesday morning the Precision Bodyline experience commenced to unfold.

The extensive “disconnect everything step” began immediately. By the noon hour the frame had been cut, the extensions added and the final tack welds were laid in place.

I was invited to watch the process of re-aligning the extensions to the frame. I saw with my own eyes that the final measurements were ABSOLUTELY PERFECT.

Three hours later all the welding was finished. The seams are a work of art...beautifully done as if installed by the factory. While I was there, I requested that a Rhino bed liner, two air bags with full hook up, a B&W fifth wheel hitch, a four horn air horn with compressor and a leveling kit to be installed. All were masterfully in place by noon hour the following day.

To anyone who is on the fence as to who to use and trust for this service, you will NOT find anyone, anywhere with the unique combination of their seasoned experience, rigid discipline and raw talent coupled with the highest sense of integrity and honor. These guys know their stuff. You will leave Precision Bodyline being completely satisfied with their work. They guarantee it and having done business with them, it’s absolutely true.

This is a major undertaking and significant purchase. Be assured you’re with the right people for the job and plan the trip to Utah. The state is beautiful and so are the people at Precision Bodyline.

The A Team,

Where do I start?

I started researching longbed conversion companies 6 months ago when I bought my 2010 2500 megacab.

I called Kendall at the conversion company in east Texas and talked to him for a brief 10 seconds. During the 10 I felt like I was a burden on him for calling.

I then called Innovative Customs and they bad mouthed Precision to the point that I had to get off the phone.

I then went to several forums to get a little feedback on extensions and how they were holding up.

All responses led to Precision as being the Way To Go.

After buying my 3500 I felt confident enough to drive from Baton Rouge Louisiana to North Salt Lake. I arrived on Monday December 27th 2010 at 8:00AM sharp. I originally planned to drop my truck off and go skiing but I forgot my skis. Being the nicest people I have ever met, they let me watch the stretch in person from start to finish. By 4:30pm that same day the stretch was complete!!! All that was left was extending the fuel filler hose and one ground wire.

By Tuesday December 28th 5:30pm I was on my way home. The truck drives so much better and handles way better than stock. I did not let up the whole way back to Baton Rouge. No problems and countless thumbs up on the way home.

This experience was by far the friendliest, easiest and pain free one I have ever been through. I WILL continue to make this drive for every megacab I buy in the future. I left feeling like I was a part of a "family." A MegaFamily if you will.

If you have any doubts about letting Precision Bodyline convert your megacab into a real truck just call me at 225-610-8987. That’s how confident I am in these guys.

Once again, thanks guys for everything and I'm hoping to send you some business from the swamps.

Much appreciation,
Robbie

Just wanted to let you guys know how much I appreciate the work and your willingness to go the extra mile in getting me to and from the airport (even on a weekend).  The truck is absolutely perfect

Thank you and all of your guys for doing a great job on my truck! When I bought my truck, having the short bed was the only thing I hated about it. I have been wanting to stretch it since I bought it. I looked at the guys in Texas doing it, but I didn't like where they cut the frame. Where you guys cut is the best place for it. I now have my dream truck, a huge cab and long bed! Thanks again! I'll send you some pictures of it when I get my rims!

Thanks,
Bradly

Good morning!

I wanted to let you know that the truck held together in one piece all the way back to Calif. It rides better than ever and seems to steer and turn just like before.

I drove it around without the shortbed piggy back this weekend and I love it. You guys did a fantastic job on this conversion. I posted it on TDR and the response is very good. I have not had any problems with the tail lights.

Again thanks for the great job and for staying late to finish so we could hit the road.
